Do I Really Need a Skateboard Tool?
Having one could save you the time and frustration of rooting around your dad's garage for the right equipment to take your trucks apart. If you do opt for one remember to be sure it will fit your board. Not all skate tools are right for all boards. For example, some boards need a hex key and others need a Phillips screwdriver. Check out your skateboard's hardware before buying a tool. Knowing what you need and making sure you have it all to hand before beginning any skateboard maintenance will save you a lot of hassle.
