Can I do it?
Yes, you can! Skateboarding for Beginners will get you up and skating. No
matter what your age, height, weight or physical ability, if you have a reasonable level of fitness, you can learn
to skateboard. Skateboarding is a physically demanding activity and some degree of fitness is required. However,
you don't have to be superman or wonder woman.
One great thing about learning to skateboard is that it will improve your fitness and get those
underused muscles into shape. All while you're having the time of your life.
Follow this guide, concentrate on the basics and build your confidence. Once you're comfortable
on your skateboard you can move on to a few basic tricks. But remember, learn to ride, turn and stop the board with
confidence first.
Skateboarding is a fantastic sport. It's fun and it's great exercise but it does take some work
to get it nailed. But nothing beats the feeling you get when you first master something new on your board.
So, read through the following skateboarding lessons then practise, practise, practise and you
will get there. It's the effort you put in that makes it such a rewarding sport.
